The Statue of Unity is the world’s tallest; it is located on Sadhu Island in India. Its height, including the pedestal, is 240 meters; without the pedestal, it is 182 meters. This is nearly 2.5 times taller than the Statue of Liberty. The statue was designed by Indian sculptor Ram Sutar. The Statue of Unity was unveiled in 2018 to mark the 143rd anniversary of Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth.
